What if I’ve forgotten my username or password?
On the sign in screen, click the ‘Forgot Password’ link. From here, you can enter your username into the ‘Username’ field and click the ‘Reset Password’ button. This will trigger an email containing a link to reset your password to your registered email account, and you should follow the instructions contained within this email.
If you have forgotten your username as well as your password, please check any recent communications you may have received from us as the Student Portal Username is often listed in the top section of our emails to you. If you cannot find any reference to your username you will need to raise a ticket with the Student Advice Centre.
Please note: if you are an internal University of London Worldwide member of staff you will not be able to follow this process. Your username will be the same as your network username. To reset your password to access the portal, you will need to reset your network password which will sync with the portal.
I’ve changed my password and am unable to login, what should I do?
Try closing down all of your internet browser windows, and then attempt to login to the portal again. This will ensure that you end your previous browser session. If you still encounter problems please contact the Student Advice Centre.
Why should I login to the portal regularly?
The portal will provide you with the most up to date information in relation to your studies including programme specific registration dates, examination entry dates and examinations results release dates for instance. It is also the place where you can access resources to support your development that aren’t specifically related to your programme of study, such as wellbeing material, career development exercises and student support services such as TalkCampus. Any news and/or event updates will also be posted on the portal, so be sure to check back regularly.
What is the difference between the portal and the VLE?
The portal is a gateway to all learning resources which includes programmes specific VLEs that host study materials, activities and resources relating to programme study modules.
If you require any assistance, please contact the Student Advice Centre.
